I'll seem like a bit of a Charlie Simpson fanboy here but after his stint in boyband Busted, he went on to form Fightstar, An England based hard rock band. He also released a solo album which was fantastic.
Fightstar - A Short History of the World (this is by no means one of their more popular songs, but it's one i enjoy for it's building power and complete change in mood)
