Renaud's Collection of Hats - The Renaud Thread

Renaud is often referred to as the 'secret weapon' of Absynthe Minded and it's easy to see why. His sweeping violin scores often bring Bert's lyrics to life and add a beautiful quality that would be sorely missed. A true master of his instrument, Renaud plays masterful pizzicato pieces, strums it like an electric guitar and even uses it for percussion. The effects he sometimes uses on it make it unrecognisable as a traditional violin, but it also doesn't sound like anything else, ensuring Absynthe Minded's unique sound. Renaud also manages to make time for keys, trumpet, harmonica and backing vocals and has an excellent collection of hats.
